Two More Families Displaced from Artsakh Receive Agricultural Assistance in Syunik

In the border region of Syunik Province, in the communities of Syunik and Yrkenants in the Kapan district, two families who were forced to leave Artsakh in 2023 have received agricultural assistance as part of the “For the Farmer’s Work” program.

Through the initiative of the “Nor Nakhichevan” Humanitarian Fund, they were provided with two piglets each and 233 kg of animal feed per family, contributing to the restoration of their agricultural activities and the establishment of self-sustaining farms.

Notably, the program follows a chain-based model. In previous years, similar distributions of piglets had already taken place in Syunik, complementing one another. This time, a new batch of piglets, received from previous beneficiaries, was distributed among new families, thereby bringing the “For the Farmer’s Work” program’s piglet distribution process to its logical completion.

The goal of the program is to support families displaced from Artsakh and residing in rural communities of the border region, ensuring them stable sources of income.

The Fund remains committed to addressing the challenges faced by displaced Artsakh residents, striving to facilitate their integration and the establishment of a stable life in their new environment.
