The “Educated Generation” Program Concludes: New Opportunities for Children in Care Institutions

The programs of the “Nor Nakhijevan” Humanitarian Foundation stand out not only for their educational focus but also for promoting personal growth and independence.

In 2024, the Foundation once again implemented the “Educated Generation” program. As in the previous year, the Foundation collaborated with the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia. The beneficiaries of the program were nine 17-18-year-old residents of the “Gavar Orphanage” SNCO under the Ministry’s supervision.

These young people, who are stepping into independent life and have often been deprived of a carefree childhood surrounded by family, remain at the center of our special attention.

The “Educated Generation” program offered the children a flexible opportunity to choose a profession, considering their personal preferences, employment prospects, and the ability to acquire specific professional skills in a short period.

Over several months, our beloved beneficiaries received short-term professional training in hairdressing, makeup, cooking, and sewing, based on their interests.

We firmly believe that education is the best means to empower our young beneficiaries to build their future, regardless of life’s challenges.

Programs like these prove that every child and young person deserves equal opportunities to achieve their dreams.
